Spot is Growing!
I am happy to announce Spot is growing! my plant is greener than ever, there are new branches and leaves coming out of it! Its nothing crazy since I only had them for about a month but this makes me really happy, being able to take care of something that brings me joy when I wake up is a nice feeling.
I might have gotten the plant virus where I now need another one lol. But i will probably hold if off, knowing myself.
Stories and Books
Lets start with the Book I am reading
Right now, yours truly, is reading Aurora Burning, a sci-fi book that follows the story of squad 312, its brings really interesting concepts on sci-fi that I plan to write about in a more in depth post in the future.
One thing I love about it, is how each chapter follows one character and how they think, what they do or say and it gives a lot of depth to them. I love all the characters but so far my favorite is Finian, the groups gearhead and internalized flaming bisexual with a plethora of snarky comments about their situation.
What about the story I am writing?
I personally wish I had more written down, like not even joking, I think I have about a page down and that’s it. I have a really hard time putting stuff from my mind to paper, so part of why I write weekly blogs (or try lol) is to get more accustomed to writing and taking my ideas out of my mind and organizing them in text. I think I been successful so far in part of getting better at writing my ideas down, but as I have already mentioned before writing is hard.
Steam summer sale and some cool games
The steam summer sale finally finished and I was able to snag some games that I wanted to play. The list includes: Citizen Sleeper, Nine Sols,OneShot and Coffee Talk. I always wanted to play this games, each for a different reason, and I am happy I was able to get them. The two i been playing the most is Nine Sols and OneShot, both with different premises but with really interesting stories! I hope Nine Sols fans don’t kill me with this comment but It reminds me a lot of Hollow knight…
I know.
I know.
Crazy.
But let me explain…
Its simply because they are both metroidvania, have really interesting environments, stories, characters and abilities. like the whole theme of theses games are incredible! of course really distinct but so unique and brilliant.
Niko, we got to get the light back
I have to be honest I still havent finished the game but from what I played it is another banger. I love Niko, they are such a cute and interesting character and the first time they broke the 4th wall gave me Hella chills lol.
I hope to finish this game before the end of the month, it looks I am in the end so :D
but I hope to have a verdict to tell everyone how cool this game is!
