Witch Hat Atelier is Peak!
Finally, after years of waiting this amazing manga has become an anime! I started reading it around 2019 and always dreamed of how it would look like animated, and thanks to Studio Bug Films it’s now a reality! The way that they have portrayed the characters and scenes is spectacular and not only they haven’t (so far) removed anything from the manga they have actually added new scenes! This is such a vibrant and captivating show, I love how each character has a unique voice and how they don’t have all an average American accent, like my boy Tartah who is fully Scottish!
I couldn’t forget to mention the amazing soundtrack that they are putting together for it! They have Yuka Kitamura as the Musical Composer, for those who dont know she worked on projects like Sekiro, Darksouls 3 and Elden Ring!

What a movie! I recently watch it with friends and wow, it’s beautiful! Ryan Gosling acting is great and the whole story of him as a funny scientist stuck in a spaceship with his friend alien rock in a journey to save their world is so poetic as it is funny. It’s a mixture of comedy with Drama where we both laugh with and feel bad for the main hero of the story as we understand their struggles. ( I Personally cried while watching it).
Knowing that a lot of scenes were shot practically and effects like the Astrophage cloud scene was filmed by “hacking” an Alexa LF Camera (They just removed the infrared sensor from the camera) is so interesting.
How is Rust Going?
To be honest it ain’t. I have been occupied with other stuff and personally with the lack of a goal or project in mind I haven’t really progressed. I hope I can soon re-start learn it cuz I think it will be beneficial to me in the long run :)
